Abstract:
In 2025 and beyond, global governance faces systemic challenges, with human rights at the core. Unilateralism and power politics undermine international cooperation and the UN Charter principles that protect human rights. Critical issues like poverty, forced migration, and tech disruptions exacerbate human insecurity.
This talk will explore these challenges, emphasise the need to reaffirm UN Charter principles, identify priority global issues, and advocate for renewed multilateral commitment to build a more effective and resilient governance framework.
